Partial dreadlocks or full head..

That’s a tough one—but I’ll be honest with you: partials are having a moment, and for good reason.
Partial dreadlocks hit this sweet spot between structure and freedom. You get that textured, expressive look without fully committing your entire head, which opens up way more styling versatility. People can switch between loose hair and locs, play with contrast, and it often feels more approachable—especially for clients who are curious but not ready to go all-in.
On the flip side, full head dreadlocks carry a different kind of energy:
They’re bold, immersive, and deeply rooted in identity and culture. A full set tends to look more unified and can evolve beautifully over time—but it is a bigger lifestyle commitment in terms of maintenance, growth journey, and personal expression.
If you’re loving the partials you’ve been creating, that probably says something important about your style as an artist. Partials give you more room to experiment and showcase creativity—different placements, blends, and textures. That can really set your work apart, especially in a place like Canary Wharf where people might want something distinctive but flexible.
If I had to choose? I’d lean partials for versatility and artistry, but full head locs for that timeless, committed look.
